The group are offered the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities both at Robertson Road Resource Centre (RRRC) and the wider community as well as actively seeking to become involved in local groups, clubs, forums, community projects etc.
The Group directs their own sessions by having a planning meeting every 12 to 16 weeks where they will formulate a programme of activities. During this planning session the group will book any rooms, IT equipment, etc that they will require at RRRC depending on what activity is being done.
The Group prefers to use services and resources in the community in small groups so have decided to divide into 2 groups and this is continually looked at and reviewed at planning sessions to ensure that service users feel that this meets their needs and functional to the aims of the groups.
People also have the choice and opportunity to access places with 1-1 support when possible. The Thursday life skills in general is also continually reviewed at each planning meeting so people have the opportunity to voice their opinions, being new ideas, explore possibilities etc.
